OVERVIEW
I’ve created dozens of logos for a variety of clients over the years. When beginning a project, I figure out what main qualities need to be communicated and create versions for the client to give feedback on.

ADDITIONAL
CONSIDERATIONS
I always start with a mind map of visual associations before I move to rough sketches. I start small - a logo that can’t be shrunk to 1”x1” won’t be readable enough to communicate clearly. I start sketching in black and white so I can be sure the form is crisp and clear. Once I have a few versions that I like, I try to create 10 digitalized versions for client feedback. Once we have a few directions to move forward with, I add color. Each project is completely unique, and I enjoy the process of getting to know the stories behind the businesses I create for.

HOW IT WENT
It was my responsibility to help define the kind of world we were going to build. In working with a copywriter to develop ideas for the scenarios mom would be in, we landed on a Willy Wonka meets Wes Anderson visual look with an unexpectedly delightful tone. The copywriter and I were also responsible for helping with scripts, storyboards, art direction, photography, selecting the production partner to work with, casting, wardrobe and set design.
THE VIRTUAL AIRMAN
We filmed our Airmen using a data capture camera that we could overlay effects on. Coaching our talent to sound like a helpful guide through the experiences was a great way to spend the day.
RAPID RECON
In this head-to-head style game, users competed to press the color of the word listed on the screen. “RED” could be seen in yellow, but only the yellow button is the correct answer.
